α-Olefin sulfonates (also: alpha-olefin sulfonates or AOS) are a group of anionic surfactants, which are used as detergents. The most frequently used example of this group of substances is sodium α-olefin sulfonate. Has low aquatic toxicity and human toxicity.
Application
- Mainly be used in mild detergents and products for babies, such as hand lotion, washing powder, complex soap, shampoo, bath lotion, facial cleaning cream, and phosphorus-free detergent.
- AOS can also be used as industrial detergents.
